Laxmipriya Behera from Nayagarh district belongs to a very poor family. Financial burden of the family didn’t allow her to continue her study. Her desire to ease the financial burden of the family remained a dream only. Against her will she worked as a daily wage labourer to feed the family. When she came to know about Adhikar’s F&B skill programme, she immediately enrolled in it. After completion of the course she was employed as assistant steward at Suryansh Hotels and Resorts and earns decent salary to support her family.
