Safe Drinking Water Improves School Participation

Adhikar believes that better access to safe drinking water and sanitation can contribute significantly to improve the health and wellbeing of poor and vulnerable people. Kumari Harijan from Rayagada. She has three schools going, children. Before getting taped water, her children regularly suffered from jaundice. This resulted in children being absent from school and gradually lost the ability to learn.

After getting tapped water connection with the help of Adhikar Jombaka testifies “This a life-changing project. It allowed me to get safe and clean drinking water through water connection. It helps my household stay healthy and children could regularly attend school and learn”.
